Crompton House School
We have for quite some time been in negotiations with Crompton House School regarding the Route 88 School Bus Service. Over the years overhead costs have continued to escalate not just with government legislation, but also within the coach industry as we strive to ultimately be a safe coach operator by providing a coach and bus service we would not hesitate in letting our own children travel on.
We operate a thorough and robust maintenance system, which rather than list here the main points have been provided on the attached link for your perusal. Of course, safety unfortunately comes at a price and we have when possible absorbed these costs and on occasions increased bus fares to accommodate. However, I am afraid we are unable to continue to run the Route 88 school bus service at a loss and therefore the decision has been made by the school to source an alternative operator.
It is, therefore, with great sadness that after 25 years of servicing this bus route, we will no longer be providing the morning and afternoon school bus service for Crompton House School.
