Coaches count, but it’s our commitment to service you’ll remember.
We know from feedback that what customers best remember about Yelloway is our staff and their personalities – so much so that many of our regular travellers look forward to seeing familiar faces. Coach travel has that effect – it brings people closer together.
We work as a team, dedicated to providing you with an efficient and attentive service that has helped make our reputation as the best surface travel company in the Manchester and North West region.
It’s no accident that we’re a successful team. Coach travel is essentially a personal service, with a very serious side where safety is concerned, so we go to great lengths to recruit people with only the right qualities and credentials.
We’re proud that our staff so clearly enjoy what they’re doing. It means they strive to do it better all the time, and that benefits you and all our other customers. With Yelloway you’ll always be in safe, friendly and reliable hands.
Here are just some of our dedicated Team...

Mark
Managing Director
The family business was opened in 1972 by my mother and father. As a young boy my father gave me the responsibility of ‘luggage handler’ for customers; payment wasn’t required because I just loved travelling on the coach with my dad, from then on my fate in coaches was sealed, even though on occasion dad forgot me at the side of the road! In 2004 I purchased the business from my father after the sad passing of my mother and then went on to make multiple acquisitions of other local coach companies which has seen the business evolve and develop into what we have today. My aim is to ensure the service and product we provide our valued passengers is second to none, expectations are exceeded and that having once experienced Yelloway, our customers will not want to travel with anyone else. It is always a pleasure to welcome new and old travellers on board.

Alisa
Company Director
Working closely with Mark in driving the business forward. I love the family atmosphere, company ethos and it has to be said there is never a dull moment!
In my spare time I like to spend time with my son, family, walking our two very mad dogs, listening to music, gardening, reading, sewing or getting craftsy; that's of course when time allows!

Mike
Transport & Tours Manager
Previously to working as Transport Manager in my last role based at Manchester Airport, I had my own company operating coaches, which covered private hires, contracts and day excursions and tours.
I enjoy meeting people and visiting new places.
In my spare time I enjoy watching football and anything aviation or Titanic related.

Sharon
Accounts
I've been with Yelloway Coaches since 2015. I look after the Accounts Department & like most jobs my duties vary from day to day & life at Yelloway is never dull.
I can honestly say I love the work I do, from talking to suppliers to having lovely chats with customers booking a day excursion. Even the serious jobs like chasing debt, VAT reconciliation & weekly payroll come easy if you’re happy in your work.
My interests are home décor shopping, dragging my poor husband around shops & garden centres, oh and ‘coach spotting’, suddenly noticing every coach that passes me on my travels….sad I know.

James
Workshop & Operations Manager
I like the sense of achievement in my role by keeping vehicles on the road and getting them through their MOT and the responsibility of looking after the fleet, I also enjoy the challenges we face daily within the industry. The working environment at Yelloway Coaches is fantastic. In my spare time i like football and anything car related.

Mike
Mechanic
I have been in the coach industry since the 1980's as a driver and mechanic. I find my role interesting at Yelloway Coaches as I can do both the driving and also am a fleet mechanic.

Steven
Driver
I was ‘brainwashed’ into coaching from a very early age, with diesel running through my veins instead of blood. I enjoy meeting a broad spectrum of people and visiting a wide range of different places and still get a buzz when going somewhere different. When not working I enjoy Match Fishing (North and West Canal Circuit) and I’m a ‘fine-weather’ dog walker.

Bev
Driver
I enjoy driving, meeting people and love driving to different places. When not working I enjoy riding my motorbike, walking my dog and spending time with my family.

Vinny
Driver
After many years in sales and retail, I took my PSV test. I have driven coaches all over Europe and love meeting new groups, places and meeting people. Cycling and keeping fit compensate my other hobbies of eating out and socialising.

Ian
Driver
I enjoy coach driving and the freedom of not being in the same place, seeing new places and meeting different people. I enjoy spending time with my family, motorbikes and Jujitsu.

Andrew
Driver
I like getting away, meeting new people and making sure they have enjoyed their day out. In my free time I enjoy football, playing golf, snooker, darts, pool and am an inactive member of the RAOB.
