Coaches count, but it’s our commitment to service you’ll remember.
We know from feedback that what customers best remember about Yelloway is our staff and their personalities – so much so that many of our regular travellers look forward to seeing familiar faces. Coach travel has that effect – it brings people closer together.
We work as a team, dedicated to providing you with an efficient and attentive service that has helped make our reputation as the best surface travel company in the Manchester and North West region.
It’s no accident that we’re a successful team. Coach travel is essentially a personal service, with a very serious side where safety is concerned, so we go to great lengths to recruit people with only the right qualities and credentials.
We’re proud that our staff so clearly enjoy what they’re doing. It means they strive to do it better all the time, and that benefits you and all our other customers. With Yelloway you’ll always be in safe, friendly and reliable hands.
Here are just some of our dedicated Team...
Mark
Managing Director
The family business was opened in 1972 by my mother and father. As a young boy my father gave me the responsibility of ‘luggage handler’ for customers; payment wasn’t required because I just loved travelling on the coach with my dad, from then on my fate in coaches was sealed, even though on occasion dad forgot me at the side of the road! In 2004 I purchased the business from my father after the sad passing of my mother and then went on to make multiple acquisitions of other local coach companies which has seen the business evolve and develop into what we have today. My aim is to ensure the service and product we provide our valued passengers is second to none, expectations are exceeded and that having once experienced Yelloway, our customers will not want to travel with anyone else. It is always a pleasure to welcome new and old travellers on board.
Alisa
Company Director
It's varied, requires patience, tenacity and a finger in every pie so to speak. But you know what; I love what I do and the team who support me are first class. When not sat behind the desk, I'm still 'mum's taxi' for my son, mummy to our two dogs, keeper of garden and home, then if time allows reading, music and sewing are by go to places.
James
General Manager
I joined the Yelloway Family in 2017, over the years I have progressed my career successfully passing my PCV test, transport managers CPC and gaining in depth knowledge which has helped me assist with making Yelloway a market leader and becoming an DVSA Earned Recognition member. In my spare time I like going to watch the mighty Bolton Wanderers and participating in motorsport events with my race car.
Sharon
Accounts & Admin
My duties are varied, mainly admin & book-keeping. I love what I do, from talking to suppliers to lovely chats with customers. My interests are home décor, shopping; dragging my poor husband around garden centers, oh & ‘coach spotting’, suddenly noticing coaches passing me on my travels... sad I know.
Steph
Sales and Marketing Assistant
I have only just recently joined the Yelloway team but think I’ve always had a Yelloway heart like my father once before. Outside of work I am a mum to 3 children who keep me busy on a daily basis and enjoy the adventures each day brings.
Ian
Lead Mechanic
I have been in the HGV/Coach industry for almost 25 years, I like the varied work at Yelloway and being able to keep the fleet safe. In my spare time I coach local grass roots football and am 'dad' taxi to my 2 kids who have a busier social life than me and the wife!
Steve
Driver
I was ‘brainwashed’ into coaching from a very early age, with diesel running through my veins instead of blood. I enjoy meeting a broad spectrum of people and visiting a wide range of different places and still get a buzz when going somewhere different. When not working I enjoy Match Fishing (North and West Canal Circuit) and I’m a ‘fine-weather’ dog walker.
Andy
Driver
I like getting away, meeting new people and making sure they have enjoyed their day out. In my free time I enjoy football, playing golf, snooker, darts, pool and am an inactive member of the RAOB.
Ian
Driver
I enjoy coach driving and the freedom of not being in the same place, seeing new places and meeting different people. I enjoy spending time with my family, motorbikes and Jujitsu.
Dom
Driver
I have been with Yelloway Coaches for many years, I like to get out and about with work. In my spare time I love nothing more than spending time with my kids.
Chris
Driver
Been with Yelloway Coaches for a few years and would say I am a Yelloway man through and through. I love spending time with my daughter when I'm not working.

I recently joined the Yelloway Team in August 2023, I have found it a really good place to work with a well relaxed atmosphere, good attitude and well looked after coaches, all the staff are great and friendly. In my spare time I love going for rides on my motorbike.
