It is more than unfortunate that only days after the re-opening of Burnley Road at Mytholmroyd on Friday 7th September 2018, the same issue appears to now be affecting Luddenden Foot. This as we currently understand the situation, will sadly have an impact again on the NHGS M2/M7 school bus route.
NHGS M2/M7 School Bus
We understand that diversions will be in place at the top of Tuel Lane. This will affect the timings of the M2/M7 school bus and we kindly ask passengers and parents to be patient as we make our way along the route both in the morning and afternoon journeys. We will update our own social media when we have relevant news to share regarding this route from both Calderdale Council and Yorkshire Water.
The following has been released from Calderdale Council today;
Please note that Burnley Road will be closed at Luddenden Foot until 12 Sept, because of the damage from the burst water main – diversions are in place. Diversions from Halifax are from the top of Tuel Lane and from Mytholmroyd in the opposite direction. If you are travelling please try and avoid the area or allow extra time to travel, especially in the rush hour periods.
We will of course keep you updated with news as we hear from Calderdale Council or Yorkshire Water.
Please also keep your eye on our social media; Facebook or Twitter for updates on the school route as it progresses tomorrow morning.
We apologies for any inconvenience caused, however these delays are outside our control. Although we will endeavor to do our utmost to ensure NHGS M2/M7 students arrive at school as soon as possible and again on the return journey home.
We kindly request that you do not telephone the office for updates, as mentioned above news as we hear will be posted on our social media so the wider audience is updated. Any information you may have or think relevant please message on our social media or email info@yelloway.co.uk. Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
